held in the womb of Kapa’au @ Starseed ranch; Hawai’i had it’s first ever annual mushroom festival.

Quite a lot goes into presenting a festival beyond audiovisual production: running & recording live audio and video for 150+ attendees.

we were elated to be able to hold space and digitally reflect for the mycology community that came together from across the islands of hawai’i and mainland.

in spite of all the moving parts and logistical gymnastics it was a seemless event presented by:

mālama mushrooms, hip agriculture, the tropical fungi academy & the hawai’i fungi project.
